Downeast Wildlife Rehabilitation Center visits schools, and different groups to help educate and promote understanding of local wildlife and their habitats.  This is done to increase awareness of an appreciation of the value of wildlife and the environment and to protect these natural resources.  We also promote the highest standards in all activities of the wildlife rehabilitator profession.  Our organization encourages networking, communication and cooperation among rehabilitators, wildlife organizations and facilities at local, state and national levels.  If your group or school is interested in having us come, please call to set up arrangements.  We currently have two beavers and a nutria we would love to bring and show off.

If you have a wildlife emergency, questions or needs, please feel free to contact us or call your local animal control or sheriff’s office.
